As a member of the Southern Facilities Unit, under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the Southern Facilities Contract Analyst is responsible for, but not limited to providing analytical, technical support, development, and management of the Southern California (SoCAL) Headquarters' (HQ) Building Management contract, other related SoCal CARB operations and facility contracts, facility related projects (e.g., tenant improvements, preventative maintenance, etc.), sustainability, infrastructure plan, and budget change proposals working with Accounting and Budget Offices. This work is important, time sensitive, and requires both strong and verbal communication skills to communicate with high level internal and external stakeholders. In addition, the incumbent will work directly with SoCal HQ Building Property Management and assist with facility projects and leasing working with control agencies, such as, the Department of General Services (DGS), budget tracking, and various drills. Occasional travel may be required.

Working Conditions
This position may be eligible for hybrid in-office work and in-state telework. The amount of telework is at the agency's discretion and is based on the California Air Resource Boards' (CARB) current telework policy. While the CARB may support telework, some in-person attendance is also required.
The positions at the CARB may be eligible for telework with in-person attendance based on the operational needs of the position under Government Code 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California, subject to the candidate meeting telework eligibility criteria outlined in the CalEPA telework policy and/or future program need. Employees not residing in California are not eligible for telework. Regardless of hybrid telework eligibility, all employees may be required to report to the position’s designated headquarters location at their own expense.

- Must be able to move/transport items/boxes weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
