Summit Rehabilitation Associates is a privately owned practice in the greater Spokane area providing comprehensive physical and occupational therapy. Summit Rehab currently has an opening for a full-time Physical Therapist with mixed orthopedic and oncology care experience. 

We are currently looking for therapists who believe in providing high quality 1-on-1 patient care, who desire to work at a clinic where quality of patient care vs quantity of patients treated is the goal. We are interested in therapists who are looking to be involved as a member of a collaborative therapy team to drive patient outcomes. 

Preferred Candidate: 

  • Interest in lymphedema and oncology rehabilitation.
  • Individual will serve a mixed orthopedics and lymphedema/oncology caseload.
  • Willing to work with patients through all stages of diagnosis and care for their condition.
  • New grad with completed lymphedema/oncology internship.

  • Flexibility in work schedule including working 10 hours/day 4 days/week vs 8 hours/day 5 days/week. 
  • A treatment model consisting of 1-on-1 care between the patient and therapist. We do not use aides/technicians to extend therapy treatment services as our focus is on high quality care. 
  • A more manageable productivity expectation treating 12-14 patients/10-hour shift, 9-11 patients/8 hour-shift as our standard.

Job Requirements:

We are looking for a compassionate individual interested in pursuing professional growth. Requirements include a Physical Therapist license in the state of Washington. Desire to work with a variety of patient populations including the injured worker.

The position requires working as a team with other clinicians and employees to provide the highest level of care and treatment possible. Candidates must have the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and the desire to positively influence lives of those they serve. Candidates should have good time management skills in regard to patient caseload and documentation and must adhere to professional, ethical and legal standards of practice.
