Accounting Specialist

Job Description

  • Proficiency in Quickbooks required
  • Pays invoices by verifying transaction information, obtaining authorization for payments, scheduling and preparing disbursements.
  • Enter new and existing customer information into QuickBooks for billing.
  • Collects revenue by calling on delinquent accounts.
  • Audit time clock entries and process weekly payroll.
  • Maintains accounting ledgers by posting accounting transactions.
  • Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation; issuing stop payments or adjustments.
  • Maintains financial historical records by filing accounting documents.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4 year degree required
  • Administrative Writing Skills
  • Previous bookkeeping experience required*
  • Organization
  • Data Entry Skills
  • Quickbooks Software Experience
  • Ability to Analyze Information
  • Attention to accuracy
  • Strong Verbal Communication Skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
