Job Summary

PSEG is seeking an intern within the corporate Human Resources Department for the summer of 2025. 

Human Resources supports the business functions across the enterprise in areas that include Employee Relations, Labor Relations, Health and Safety, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Benefits Administration, Compensation, and Data Analytics. As companies reorganize to gain a competitive edge, HR plays a key role in helping companies deal with an ever-changing environment and the greater demand for quality employees and business continuity.

This position is a hybrid role - a combination of being in the office and remote work.

Job Responsibilities

  • Candidates will be working alongside Human Resources professionals to assist with day-to-day duties.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to prioritize multiple projects and bring new ideas to the table.

Job Specific Qualifications

Required education/skills:

  • The successful candidate(s) must be actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited institution in Human Resource, Management, Leadership/Organizational Development, Labor Relations, Marketing, Communications, or other Business related major and graduating between December 2025 and May 2028.  Students graduating in May/June 2025 are not eligible unless they are enrolling in a post-graduate degree program in the Fall term of 2025.  PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent. 
  • Candidates must have completed sophomore level course work for consideration.

Preferred Skills:

  • 3.0 GPA
  • All PSEG internship roles are paid at an hourly rate, however there are no benefits associated with these positions. Candidates are expected to work 40 hours per week over the summer period for the full 10–12-week period.
