Laboratory Technician

Title: Laboratory Tech
Location: North Chicago, IL
Pay: $25-29/hr
Contract: 6+ months

Job Description

• Work individually and as part of a team to perform laboratory experiments that support the manufacturing development of oral solid dosage (OSD) forms.
• Generate samples and perform characterization of OSD unit operations such as blending, roller compaction, and tableting.
• Keep detailed records of experiments and observations that can be reviewed and understood by teammates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Prior experience with oral solid dosage form manufacturing, proficient in use of Excel and/or other software packages to visualize scientific results
• Demonstrated written/verbal communication and collaborative skills
• Hands-on experience with laboratory work and documentation
