Client Solutions Manager (Ecological Restoration)
Overview
The Client Solutions Manager markets integrated delivery projects directly to prospects and clients in mitigation, water quality and resilience. The position is vital to the region’s sales and business development function and promotes RES solutions throughout Kentucky. This position will can be based out of our Louisville or Frankfort office.

- Actively contributes to developing market and customer strategies and driving growth in core business and emerging strategic solutions
- In conjunction with Land and Project teams, market RES’ ecological restoration solutions to target clients
- Provide continual support for clients through market development plans, ensuring RES is positioned as a strategic advisor that monitors relevant client issues and engages with innovative solutions
- Provide project management and oversight of regulatory agency interactions and filings in areas of mitigation, water quality and resilience.
- Participate in conferences, trade groups, and other external leadership roles to elevate brand awareness for RES in Kentucky
- Increases the visibility of RES by sharing our knowledge and innovation story through key client engagements to enhance our reputation and drive revenue
Qualifications
We would love to talk to you if you have many of the following:
- BA/BS Biology, Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrology, Engineering, Agricultural Science or similar Science
- Three years of environmental consulting experience as a “seller-doer” responsible for leading the pursuit and delivery of projects
- Two years’ permitting experience working with CWA Section 404/402/401 and/or Endangered Species Act Section 10/7
- Demonstrated existing relationships with public agencies and regulators, private developers, consulting and engineering firms, non-profits, and academia within the Southeast to further RES’ reputation and business interests
- Experience in the review and preparation of regulatory documents and deliverables and responding to agency comments
- Advanced understanding of and experience with relevant environmental regulations and permits/approvals (e.g. CWA 404/402/401, NWP/IP, NPDES, ESA)
- Sound understanding of restoration design principles, approaches, and supporting technical information such as engineering design plans, functional calculations, and ecological data.
- Able to independently access state and federal databases to extract specific information and interpret and communicate the results of data collected
- Experience reading and interpreting project maps and design plans and extracting information from these documents to create sales opportunities and build a sales pipeline.
- Strong familiarity with GIS capabilities and functions.
- Experienced in estimating, scheduling, and budget development
- Ability to travel up to 50% of your time, business depending
What will make you stand out?
- Experience as a team lead of an applied-sciences, engineering, or environmental consulting department
- Five or more years of environmental consulting experience as a “seller-doer” responsible for leading the pursuit and delivery of projects
- Five or more years permitting experience working with CWA Section 404/402/401 and/or Endangered Species Act Section 10/7
- Advanced Degree or additional qualifications in Project Management, such as Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Experience with science, design and/or construction of wetlands; Professional Wetlands Scientist (PWS) preferred
