This is a full-time hybrid role as a Tax Associate at Caranella Tax & Advisory, LLC in Palatine, IL. The Tax Associate will be responsible for assembling client workpapers, tax preparation for both individuals and passthrough entities, monthly accounting and journal entries.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related field.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. 
  • Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Tax compliance and tax preparation skills.
  • Knowledge of tax laws.
