RN Manager - Med/Surg and ICU (Job # 321180)

RN Manager - Med/Surg and ICU at Providence Newberg Medical Center.  This is a full-time position offering flexible day shift work hours, Monday-Friday.  In this position you will have oversight of a 28 bed Med/Surg and 4 bed Intensive Care Unit, consisting of a general adult patient population.  You will have the great support of 2 Associate RN Managers to help lead approximately 90 staff members.  Both units have great quality metrics, solid patient experience metrics, strong HRO (high reliability) culture, and a collaborative work environment with highly engaged staff.

$10,000 hiring bonus and relocation assistance for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Upon hire: Oregon Registered Nurse License
  • 5 years of Nursing with experience in progressive leadership roles.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3 years of Med/Surg, ICU, or ED RN work experience
  • Master's Degree in related field
  • Coursework/Training and formal coursework in management, finance, and other administrative subjects
  • Upon hire: National Certification from recognized professional organization in relevant field of clinical expertise
  • Management experience
