Program and Management Analyst

Duties

  • You will assist with the identification of opportunities for Department level tools and/or support pilots of evidence-informed programs to address identified trends/challenges.
  • You will provide guidance to leadership on integrated primary prevention methodologies, assessment, and prevention training.
  • You will coordinate relevant primary prevention actions and projects across programs and ensures completion dates are within established timeframes.
  • You will interpret policies and guidance to develop specific plans, objectives, and guidance for the operation of integrated prevention programs.
  • You will prepare reports, executive summaries and present to a variety of audiences, including senior military officers and senior executives, ensuring the information is tailored to the audience and the delivery of information is accurate.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

 

Qualifications

GS-13: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Comprehensive knowledge of a wide range of sexual assault, sexual harassment, domestic abuse, and suicide prevention and response and integrated prevention
initiatives, policies, and procedures in order to implement DON policy, coordinate procedures with high-level management officials, and resolve issues related to the management of the
programs; Presenting findings and recommendations to internal and external parties through employing excellent writing and oral communication skills; Applying qualitative and quantitative methods to assess the effectiveness of programs and initiatives.

GS-12: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Applying qualitative and quantitative methods to gather and assess information related to the effectiveness of programs and initiatives; Presenting findings and recommendations to internal and external parties through employing excellent writing and oral communication skills; Applying knowledge of a wide range of sexual assault, sexual harassment, domestic abuse, and suicide prevention and response and integrated prevention initiatives, policies, and procedures to complete assessments and make recommendations.
