As an intern at Berry Global in the Consumer Packaging North America Division, you will participate in our Summer 2025 Leadership Series where you will have the opportunity to meet and learn from business leaders from across the organization. Additionally, you will participate in networking events, a volunteer activity serving the greater Evansville community, and work on meaningful projects during your time at Berry.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Demand Planning Intern to join our Supply Chain team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop skills in demand forecasting, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic business environment.
Responsibilities
1. Data Collection and Analysis:
• Assist in gathering, consolidating, and analyzing sales data, historical performance, and market trends.
• Support in developing and refining demand forecasts using statistical models and business intelligence tools.
• Help identify trends and demand patterns that inform the planning process.
2. Reporting and Metrics:
• Assist in preparing reports and dashboards that track forecast accuracy, sales trends, and other relevant KPIs.
• Conduct variance analysis to assess forecast performance and suggest improvements.
3. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
• Work closely with sales, marketing, and finance teams to gather insights and input for demand planning.
• Support alignment between forecast assumptions and business goals by facilitating regular communication with stakeholders.
4. Forecasting and Process Improvement:
• Support continuous improvement efforts in the demand planning process, identifying areas for enhanced accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist in testing and refining demand planning tools and methodologies.
5. Special Projects:
• Participate in demand planning projects, such as order bookings analysis integration, item lifecycle management process improvement, and customer S&OP analysis and preparation.
• Assist with process documentation and recommendations for future enhancements.
Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Math, Statistics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis, particularly using Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and statistical analysis).
• Knowledge of demand planning and forecasting principles is preferred.
• Familiarity with planning or analytics tools (such as SAP, Oracle, or Power BI) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
