Materials Handler

Duties

A Materials Handler performs a variety of general manual duties and responsibilities in and around a warehouse. Duties may include loading and unloading of equipment and supplies, stocking shelves, stacking supplies, rotating inventory, marking inventory, refurbishment of supplies, inventory of supply items, monitoring stock levels, issuing supplies and equipment, or filling orders of equipment and supplies in accordance with standardized operating procedures. Maintaining and issuing fire supplies while documenting records. May deliver supplies and equipment to fire stations.
