Spring Co-op/Integration & Data Transfer
Department Description:
Medicine Development & Supply (MDS) In-Licensing and Scientific Excellence sits within the GSK Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls organization which is tasked with developing the manufacturing process for pharmaceutical assets and manufacturing supplies for clinical studies.
The In-Licensing and Scientific Excellence department has enterprise accountability for CMC input into all stages of the due diligence process including contracting for in-licensing, co-development/co-commercialization, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and divestments. The department is global in nature and has locations in the UK (Stevenage and Ware) and the US (Philadelphia and Boston suburbs).
Job Description:
This is a 6 to 12-month assignment. There are two focus areas for this job:
- Document/Data Transfer and Management: Contribute to the development and/or continuous improvement of the transfer and management of data associated with receipt of knowledge from external organizations.
- Integration Operational Management: Assist with the organizational activities supporting due diligence and integration activities by assisting with the project management of evaluations and integration executions. This role will also assist in developing and evolving tools to help facilitate the technical review of assets. On an as needed basis, this role will also assist with special projects related to leveraging existing data to help gain better insights into the overall operational process of due diligence and integrations as well as on the individual assets themselves.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or Information Science and Systems disciplines (e.g. Data Science, Information Science, Information Systems, etc.).
- Must be able to take on a 12-month assignment.
- Must be able to travel 2-3 days a week to a GSK site in the Philadelphia or Boston area.
- Must be able to work full-time (35-40 hours/week) throughout the 12-month assignment (March 2025 ~ March 2026).
- Must have an active student status and/or within 12 months post-graduation from a BS or MS degree program. Post-doctoral candidates are not eligible.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduated in past 12-months with a Masters’ degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Science and Systems disciplines (e.g. Data Science, Information Science, Information Systems, etc.)
- Technical business process development and/or operational experience, including Project Management
- Experience in developing new tools/techniques to gain insight into existing data sets

Candidates who are hired for an on-site role or hybrid role, and reside outside of 50-miles from their assigned work location, are eligible for relocation stipend.
