Marketing Analytics Intern
We are looking for data-oriented Marketing Analytics intern to join ABM for 8 weeks this summer (June 2-July 25). This paid internship will offer exposure to the Marketing Data Analytics & Operations function at ABM, with additional exposure to Marketing Strategy and Experiential Marketing. You will play an important role in supporting key data-driven Marketing initiatives while gaining experience with established industry technologies like Power BI, Salesforce, Snowflake, and more.
Responsibilities
- Data management: source, cleanse, and develop data sets that are critical to reporting and analyses
- Reporting: build creative and thought-provoking reports that inform decision-makers
- Query-building: write SQL queries and build Power BI data models
- Insight generation through ad-hoc analyses: apply critical thinking and statistical methods to generate and present actionable insights through data-driven analyses
Qualifications
- Working toward a degree in Analytics, Mathematics, IT, Computer Science, or related disciplines
- Strong interpersonal skills; passion for data storytelling and delivering actionable insights
- Analytically inclined; knows the fundamentals of mathematics, statistics, and probability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite - particularly Excel
- Familiarity with relational databases
- Knows fundamentals of data visualization (charts, graphs)
- Prior knowledge of SQL a plus
- Prior knowledge of a data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Data Studio, Qlik, etc.) a plus
- Prior knowledge of Salesforce a plus
- Prior Knowledge of scripting languages (R, Python, etc.) a plus
