Sales Representative - Electrical Products

Location: Northern New Jersey

GSA Optimum is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. We are looking for a recent college graduate who is eager to learn and grow in a technical sales role. This position involves selling well-known electrical products to established accounts, including robots, wire and cables, motor control components, switches, circuit breakers, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients in Northern NJ.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory.
  • Provide technical product information and support to customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Travel up to 75% locally within the region to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Qualifications:.

  • Technical knowledge or background preferred; an engineering or STEM degree is a plus.
  • Ability to learn and communicate technical product specifications effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree (Required).
  • Valid Driver's License (Required).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • We have had great success hiring people with wait service experience

Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year.

  • Compensation package includes bonus opportunities and commission pay over and above base salary.
