2025 Summer Intern - OnStar Digital Services Revenue Operations

Work Arrangement

Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Warren, MI three times per week, at minimum.

 

The Team:

OnStar Digital Services is a division within General Motors tasked with ensuring our customers enjoy world class experiences inside and adjacent to their vehicles. We own the OnStar go-to-market approach and performance management as we strive to be #1 in automotive digital services. The Revenue Growth Operations (RGO) team specifically is tasked with subscription performance, ensuring revenue growth is future proofed, and  leveraging an investment mindset to prioritize CLV. Specifically, this team is obsessed with Acquisition and Retention, accountable for OnStar Revenue. We’re looking for candidates interested in a multi-month job interview to join the team responsible for delivering Better Drives, Better Safety, Better Entertainment, and Better Control for millions of customers. 

 

What You’ll Do:  

  •  Obsess over funnel performance for each population of interest
  • Identify, design, and execute investment opportunities to shift spend in market, maximizing ROAS
  • Craft creative solutions to address KPI inefficiencies 
  • Create tactics to maximize revenue per subscriber and/or reduce churn

Additional Job Description

Required Qualifications:    

  • Pursuit of an MBA or Bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas: Marketing, Data Analytics, Strategy, Consulting, Finance or related degree
  • Must be graduating December 2025 and May 2026
  • Able to work fulltime, 40 hours per week

  • Exhibited capacity to fall short, be wrong, fail, and apply learnings to future endeavors 
  • Developed expertise at developing and maintaining a financial model, business case, or similar
  • Familiarity with data manipulation (e.g. SQL)
  • Demonstrated ability to drive business outcomes in ambiguous, resource-constrained environments 
  • Be customer-obsessed; ability to apply customer-based learnings to key initiatives 

 

Start dates for this internship role are May & June of 2025.

 

Compensation:

The salary range for this role is $4,400 - $6,800 monthly, dependent upon class status and degree.

GM will provide a one-time lump sum taxable stipend payment to eligible students selected for the 2025 Student Program.
