Los Angeles Angels-2025 Video Content Internship

Overview:

Reporting to the Manager, Digital Communications, the Video Content Intern will provide support for the Club’s social media platforms with engaging and exciting video content. This position will be proficient in video editing.

The rate of pay for this position will be $16.50.  Interns are eligible for perks such as game tickets, early office closure pay, merchandise discounts and more. 

Duties:

  • Assist and execute in aspects of video production, including but not limited to: 
    • creative concept and development
    • lighting
    • shooting
    • motion graphics creation
    • video editing
  • Utilize both video editing and motion graphics techniques to support digital content production.
  • Work as a member of a content team, which includes photographers, videographers, and social media team to meet creative objectives.
  • Remain up to date with current trends and best practices within the sports and entertainment industries.
  • Working on multiple projects simultaneously and staying cognizant of needs and timelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Film, Art, or a related field must be in progress or recently completed.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus. 
  • Experience with post-production video editing tools, especially the Adobe Creative Suite applications, including but not limited to: Premiere, Photoshop, and AfterEffects.
  • 1-3 years related video editing experience preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge with high-definition video equipment.
  • Photography knowledge/background a plus.
  • Experience and knowledge of social media platforms, MLB, and the Los Angeles Angels required
  • Attention to detail and ability to problem solve
  • Ability to take initiative multi-task, and work both independently and in a team to complete tasks and projects.
  • Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays as required.
  • Posses a well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude and be receptive to input and constructive criticism.

 

Physical Demands - Persons in this position may have to:

  • Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Frequently traverse to various locations around the stadium
  • Continuously operate devices that are capable of completing essential job functions such as computers, phones and accompanying equipment
  • Occasionally travel to alternate work sites via automobile to conduct company-related business
  • May be subjected to extreme heat (over 90 degrees) when working outdoors i.e. performing work in an around the stadium.
  • May be subjected to loud noises during stadium events.
  • May occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
