About the Baseball Program

• The staff is made up of the head and four to five counselors
• Instructional periods
  • The soccer staff is responsible for teaching age-appropriate lessons that build the campers’ skills through the summer
  • For our oldest campers, the staff works with interested campers to assess their skills and goals and establish an individualized program for the summer
• Intercamp Teams
  • Andro plays local camp rivals in head-to-head games and tournaments
  • For competitions that Andro hosts, the members of the staff serve as referees
  • Each staff member is assigned an age group team to coach

Responsibilities of Head of Soccer

• Instruction
  • Responsible for planning and implementing instructional program with age-appropriate skills, drills, and scrimmages for campers in all age groups
    • Participation alongside other members of staff during periods expected
  • Staff Supervision
    • Responsible for training and supervising other members of the soccer staff, with emphasis on improving their coaching and teaching skills
  • Organization/Scheduling
    • Assignment of coaches for age group intercamp teams, expected to coach an age group
    • Responsible for scheduling staff to cover daily instructional periods
  • Coordination/Communication
    • Daily communication with Athletic Director and Daily Program Director
    • Point person for all things soccer, including special events
