Curriculum Designer - West Coast - STEAME

We are looking for a motivated Curriculum Designer to work with our education team and help bring to life engaging and innovative STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) education programs for middle and high school students. Our project is dedicated to empowering the next generation by providing hands-on lessons and activities that inspire creativity and exploration in STEAM fields.

The Curriculum Designer will be responsible for developing comprehensive lesson plans, activities, and interactive learning materials tailored to students on the West Coast. This includes designing and refining courses in science, technology, engineering, art, and math that meet state education standards while fostering curiosity and practical skill-building. You will also collaborate with the team to ensure the curriculum supports both online and in-person learning.

The Curriculum Designer will develop and use problem-solving, creativity, planning, communication, and organizational skills to create high-quality, engaging educational content. There will be ample opportunity for learning, feedback, and professional growth as the project expands.

This role is remote with flexible hours, and team meetings will be scheduled to accommodate all participants.

As a valued member of our team, you will have the flexibility to innovate and shape the future of STEAM education. Your contributions will directly impact the way students engage with science, technology, engineering, art, and math, encouraging them to think critically and creatively. We offer a collaborative and supportive environment where your ideas will be valued, and you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students across the West Coast.

We are a volunteer-based non-profit organization, and we are looking for a Curriculum Designer who can make a semester or longer commitment.
