24-06513 Resource Management Analyst I
The Department of Revenue, Division of Information Management has an opening for a Resource Management Analyst I.
We are seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Resource Management Analyst I to support our agency’s mission.
1. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direction in planning, organizing, and managing information resources to align with the agency's objectives.
- Act as a liaison between the agency's business/programmatic functions and the information systems team.
- Serve as the departmental information resources manager, handling various related duties as required.
- Offer technical and administrative support to the Integrated Tax System Project Management Team, including mail processing, report production for other states, and XEROX invoice validation.
- Manage the Department’s internal and external websites as the webmaster, which includes designing content and making requested updates.
- Assist in preparing the Annual Closing Package for the Finance and Administration Cabinet, including quarterly summaries for the annual report.
- Provide onsite coordination and support to project managers, particularly regarding building alterations and construction issues.
2. Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in information management or related fields is preferred.
- Proficiency in website management and content creation
3. Additional/Supplemental information:
- Required to successfully complete a background investigation including an FBI criminal history record check (fingerprint check).
- Required to comply with all tax laws.
- Mostly at a desk using a computer and telephone.
- Some travel for training and education.

4. Minimum Requirements

EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: One year of systems analysis, business administration, or public administration experience.

Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Related technical or vocational training will substitute for the bachelor's degree requirement on a year for year basis. A master's degree in computer science, business or public administration will substitute for the experience requirement.

Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Experience in computer programming, systems analysis, information services, research and statistics, business administration, or public administration will substitute for the bachelor's degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Incumbents working in this job title typically perform duties in an office setting.
Probationary Period
This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
