What You'll Do:
You will work in a small team of consultants (including senior partners) playing an active role in all aspects of client engagements from gathering/analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, designing research studies and experiments, and developing and communicating strategic recommendations across client organizations.
Specifically you must be willing and able to:
- Immerse yourself in a wide range of client industries, issues, or campaigns to familiarize yourself with their business, current situation, and strategic goals and objectives
- Uncover original analyses out of data and deliver insights to the core team and clients with a strong visual aesthetic and strategic rigor
- Communicate analytical insights through sophisticated synthesis of data (quantitative and qualitative) and package findings in a variety of formats including PowerPoint, verbally, or through written communication.
- Work on multiple projects, take ownership of engagement/deliverable work-stream, while working effectively in a self-directed manner
- Follow direction and guidance while also applying your own creativity and curiosity to the process
- Continuously improve yourself. Your formal education isn’t the end of your learning experience.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Undergraduate or Master’s Degree or have 1-2 years of work experience after completing undergraduate degree
- Track record of inclusive leadership in a workplace environment or through organized team sports, clubs, extracurricular activities
- Superior quantitative analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and derive meaningful insights clearly and simply
- Strong oral and written communication skills. You are able to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Interest in and are familiar with the basics of market research, opinion research, and data analytics, including data synthesis and visualization
- A motivated self-starter who can manage multiple projects and (re)prioritize as needed
- An individual that who works well under pressure and can meet tight deadlines
- Detail-oriented and proud of the accuracy in your work
- Willing to be based in NYC (hybrid work in-office Tues/Wed/Thurs) and travel from time to time
- Ambitious – this is a high-growth opportunity
Preference will be given to candidates who also possess 1 or more of the following:
- Familiarity or coursework in marketing analytics, market research, survey research
- Advanced Excel skills
- Familiarity with basic statistical concepts (e.g. correlation, regressions, confidence intervals, etc.)
- Familiarity or coursework in data visualization or visual design
- Solid understanding of economic, financial and general business concepts and terminology
Our Interview Process:
Our interview process is a multi-round process. Candidates should be prepared for oral interviews, a written test, and a personality assessment.
Salary & Benefits
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $72,000.
This role is also eligible for annual discretionary bonus, health/vision/dental insurance, PTO, 401(k) with employer match and discretionary profit-sharing component.
