Pension Actuarial Analyst
We are looking for a pension actuarial analyst/consultant who is interested in pension consulting. As an pension/actuarial analyst, you will work on clients' pension plans.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, reconcile and analyze census and financial data for valuation of pension plans
- Perform actuarial valuations and compliance testing on pension plans
- Communicate with clients and financial institution representatives
- Prepare letters, reports and various government filings
- Assist with electronic file management and documentation
- Prepare benefit calculations and benefit distributions
- Other duties as assigned
Required
- We are open to any Bachelor degree majors. Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Actuarial Science or Science related disciplines are preferred
- Strong analytic skills, the ability to research independently and think critically
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, MS Access is a plus. SQL and VBA experience is a plus
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and individually
