Pension Actuarial Analyst

We are looking for a pension actuarial analyst/consultant who is interested in pension consulting. As an pension/actuarial analyst, you will work on clients' pension plans.

Responsibilities 

  • Maintain, reconcile and analyze census and financial data for  valuation of pension plans
  • Perform actuarial valuations and compliance testing on pension plans
  • Communicate with clients and financial institution representatives
  • Prepare letters, reports and various government filings
  • Assist with electronic file management and documentation
  • Prepare benefit calculations and benefit distributions
  • Other duties as assigned

Required

  • We are open to any Bachelor degree majors. Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Actuarial Science or Science related disciplines are preferred 
  • Strong analytic skills, the ability to research independently and think critically
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, MS Access is a plus. SQL and VBA experience is a plus
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and individually
