Overview:
We are offering an unpaid internship for individuals who are ready to take on one of the most critical roles in our organization. The Orders & Fulfillment Team is responsible for ensuring that every order is processed, shipped, and communicated smoothly, efficiently, and accurately. This role involves managing the entire fulfillment process from receiving orders to ensuring they are delivered to customers, with a special focus on shipping logistics and customer communication.

Key Details:

• Internship Duration: Now through December 31 or May 31 (based on your availability)
• Meeting Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM NYC time
• Position: Unpaid, but offering invaluable experience in logistics, order management, and fulfillment.

What You’ll Do:

1. Order Processing:
• Receive and review incoming orders, ensuring all details are accurate and complete.
• Input orders into our system and ensure they are ready for fulfillment.
• Work closely with the inventory and shipping teams to ensure that all orders are prepared and packaged correctly.
2. Shipping & Logistics:
• Coordinate shipping logistics, ensuring that all orders are sent out on time with the most cost-effective and reliable carriers.
• Track shipments from the warehouse to the customer, ensuring that deliveries are made on time.
• Compare and manage shipping options to ensure the most efficient routes and methods are used.
3. Communication:
• Keep customers informed throughout the order process, sending order confirmations, shipping updates, and delivery notifications.
• Handle any shipping or fulfillment inquiries from customers promptly and professionally.
• Communicate with shipping carriers to resolve any issues related to lost or delayed packages.
4. Fulfillment:
• Ensure all fulfillment operations run smoothly, from packaging to dispatching.
• Work with suppliers and logistics partners to manage inventory and restocking as needed.
• Help identify and implement ways to improve the fulfillment process, reducing shipping times and costs while maintaining high accuracy.
