Associate Attorney

Job Overview

Cruser Mitchell is a well-established 100-plus lawyer national litigation firm. We are seeking a self-motivated individual for a full-time Associate Attorney position in our new Chicago office. The ideal candidate will have zero-to-two years of litigation experience.

Salary commensurate with experience. Full benefits including health insurance and 401(k) with employer match.

Responsibilities

- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues

- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs

- Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations

- Assist with case management and trial preparation

- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases

- Stay current on relevant laws and regulations

Qualifications

- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

- Admitted to practice law in the state of Illinois

- Ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients

- Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
