The Position: We’re looking for a Follow-Up Intern 

 

We are seeking a proactive and detail-orientated Follow-up & Expediting Intern to join our team at Comau LLC, an industrial automation leader. This position will assist in tracking and expediting orders, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining supplier communication. This role offers hands-on experience at a fully verticalized, fast-paced engineered-to-order industrial environment.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Interest in industrial automation is a plus
  • ERP (SAP) experience desired

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and follow up on purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding order status, shipping details, and potential delays
  • Update internal systems with order progress and delivery dates
  • Assist in resolving discrepancies related to delivery or quality issues
  • Support project execution through material deliveries and cross-functional communication

The Location: This position will be hybrid with the office located in Southfield, MI
