Job Title: Office Ambassador

Organization: IU Indianapolis

Department/ Office: School of Social Work

Hourly Wage: $12.50 

Number of Openings: 1

Average Hours/Week: 10-15 hrs/week

 

General Purpose: 

  • Perform routine clerical, data entry, and administrative work for MSW Field Coordinators, IU School of Social Work. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Assist with general administrative tasks as follows:

  • Enter and organize file and documents  for various field and academic projects
  • Enter data /create documents for various field and academic projects
  • Enter data into Sonia Field system for field education processes 
  • Provide administrative support for recruitment efforts of field education agencies
  • Provide administrative support for MSW Field Coordinator projects and events
  • Conduct basic research to support field education projects
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned to support MSW field coordinators

Qualifications:

Student must: 

  • be an IU Indianapolis student
  • have weekday availability
  • be able to work 10-15 hours per week
  • Mondays and Wednesdays are preferred but scheduled can be negotiable
  • have a Federal Work-Study award

Students should have: 

  • ability to work effectively with diverse populations

  • demonstrated skill in verbal and written communication
  • knowledge or ability to answer questions and provide solutions 
  • strong organizational skills
