Position Summary:
The Human Resources Manager at Power Changes Lives will play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's culture, ensuring we attract, develop, and retain top talent. This remote position requires a strategic and operational visionary who is passionate about making a significant impact through our mission-driven work. The HR Manager will support our diverse staff, oversee HR systems and policies, and foster an inclusive and thriving work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Staffing:
▪ Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract diverse talent aligned with our mission. Manage the hiring process including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
2. Employee Relations:
▪ Serve as a trusted advisor to staff, offering guidance on HR policies, conflict resolution, and career development. Foster a positive, inclusive company culture supportive of our commitment to equity and diversity.
3. Performance Management:
▪ Design and manage a robust performance review process. Support managers in setting objectives and providing feedback. Identify professional development needs and opportunities for staff.
4. Compliance & Policy Development:
▪ Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations. Maintain up-to-date employee records.
5. Compensation & Benefits:
▪ Evaluate and manage competitive compensation structures and benefits packages. Work with external providers to negotiate plans that support employee well-being.
6. Training & Development:
▪ Initiate and oversee employee training programs that promote skill development, leadership growth, and align with organizational goals.
7. Organizational Development:
▪ Collaborate with leadership to identify organizational needs, foster a strong mission-driven workforce, and drive initiatives that support our strategic objectives.
8. HR Systems Management:
▪ Utilize and maintain HR software for streamlined processes and accurate reporting. Ensure data integrity and confidentiality of employee information.
