Position Overview:
As the Community Relations and Partnerships Manager, you will be instrumental in establishing POWER CHANGES LIVES as a pivotal resource in community development. This role requires a highly motivated individual adept at networking, partnership-building, and community engagement to enhance our initiatives and drive positive change across our focus areas.
Key Responsibilities:
1.  Strategic Partnership Development:
▪  Identify, cultivate, and maintain strategic partnerships with organizations, businesses, and community leaders aligned with our mission.
▪  Negotiate and formalize collaborations to support our programs and expand our organizational reach.
2.  Community Engagement:
▪  Lead efforts to engage with diverse community groups and stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges.
▪  Organize and participate in community meetings, forums, and events to promote our services and gather feedback.
3.  Advocacy and Representation:
▪  Serve as the primary liaison with external partners, effectively representing POWER CHANGES LIVES’ mission and goals.
▪  Advocate for policy changes and influence community-centric strategies that address disparities in our focus areas.
4.  Program Collaboration and Support:
▪  Work closely with program managers to ensure aligned goals and successful implementation of community initiatives.
▪  Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to maximize resources and impact.
5.  Communications and Public Relations:
▪  Develop and execute communication strategies to raise awareness and promote our mission.
▪  Produce content for press releases, newsletters, and social media in collaboration with the communications team.
6.  Resource Acquisition:
▪  Assist in identifying funding opportunities, writing grants, and securing donations to support and sustain our programs.
▪  Develop reports and presentations to demonstrate the impact and value of partnerships to sponsors and stakeholders.
