Position Overview: 

The Web Development & Design Specialist will play an instrumental role in enhancing our online presence and user experience. This position involves designing, developing, and maintaining the Unclaimed Finance LLC website and other digital platforms to ensure they are user-friendly, informative, and aligned with our mission. By employing modern web design principles and technologies, you will help create an engaging digital environment that effectively communicates our goals, supports our database initiatives, and drives client interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain the Unclaimed Finance LLC website, ensuring it is visually appealing, responsive, and accessible across all devices and browsers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define website functionality and features that align with the company's mission and meet user needs.
  • Implement user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) best practices to enhance website usability and engagement.
  • Create and update web content, including articles, guidelines, and resources relating to unclaimed funds, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
  • Optimize website performance by monitoring site speed, layout, and usability, making adjustments as necessary to improve functionality.
  • Incorporate search engine optimization (SEO) techniques to improve site visibility and drive organic traffic.
  • Ensure the website is compliant with industry standards, privacy regulations, and accessibility guidelines.
  • Manage and troubleshoot any technical issues that arise on the website, ensuring minimal downtime and prompt resolution.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to integrate web strategies with other outreach initiatives.
  • Stay informed about emerging web technologies, design trends, and best practices to continuously improve the website and user experience.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in web design and development, including proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and experience in creating intuitive and user-centered designs.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Joomla, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and techniques for website optimization.
  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess website performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated with a dedication to meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work in a remote environment.
  • An understanding of data protection and privacy regulations as they pertain to web technologies.
