Intern Fundraising Coordinator

Position Overview: The Volunteer Fundraising Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the financial health of Dream Factory of Brooklyn. This position involves researching fundraising opportunities, developing and implementing fundraising strategies, coordinating events, soliciting donations, maintaining donor relationships, managing fundraising databases, and ensuring compliance with fundraising regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Identifying Fundraising Opportunities:Research and identify potential fundraising opportunities, including grants, corporate sponsorships, and individual donations.

Developing Fundraising Strategies:Develop and implement strategies to meet the organization's financial goals. Set fundraising targets and develop comprehensive fundraising campaigns. Create engaging fundraising materials to support various campaigns.

Soliciting Donations:Oversee the solicitation of donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations. Develop and send donation solicitation letters, make phone calls, and send emails to potential donors.

Maintaining Relationships with Donors:Build and maintain positive relationships with donors through regular communication. Keep donors updated on the organization's activities and the impact of their support.

Managing Fundraising Databases:Manage fundraising databases to track donations and donor information. Ensure that donor information is up to date and accurate. Generate reports on fundraising progress.
