The Resilient LV VISTA will support UWGLV's backbone efforts with Resilient Lehigh Valley, a regional collective impact initiative aimed at fostering a trauma-informed and resilient community. Working closely with the Director of Community Resiliency, the VISTA will lead the development and implementation of the coalition, focusing on raising awareness within the 24 local school districts. They will provide critical information to school leadership to facilitate the implementation of a trauma-informed schools framework. Additionally, the VISTA will assist in the backbone organization role by developing meeting schedules, advancing goals identified by action groups, and planning professional development training opportunities. This role will also include support for behavioral and mental health initiatives, ensuring that strategies align with community needs and promote overall well-being in the region.
