Jr. Paralegal

LEVIN SIMES LLP has an immediate opening for one to two Jr. Paralegals to join our law firm. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented and a team player who has an interested in a career in law to assist with the case management, litigation, and settlement of cases in our Rideshare Litigation Practice Group.  Our practice is focused on plaintiff’s personal injury, products’ liability and mass tort.  We represent individuals who have been injured by defective products or are the victims of assault both sexual and otherwise against Rideshare Companies or Institutions. We also represent individuals who have been injured by use of e-cigarette, battery explosions and talc.   While this position is an entry level position you will be paired with a Sr. Paralegal for training and support. This is a perfect position for someone looking for a legal career for stepping stone for someone who is on their way to law school.

Job Summary

Includes, but is not limited to speaking with clients, intake, data entry, case organization and management as directed by the attorneys and/or paralegal, ordering medical and other records, research and investigation of incident, document management and all facets of case work as we prepare to litigate our clients cases.

Candidate could have a B.A. or similar

Candidate must also have good computer knowledge and proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite. Critical thinking, ability to prioritize, and exercise good judgment is a must. Science background is helpful, but not required. The position is hybrid with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home; We will provide all necessary equipment and training. Interview process will be in person.
