First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative to join the BankCard team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for providing information and assistance to ATM, credit, and debit card customers via incoming telephone and email inquiries.  This role is also responsible for operating various programs and systems to assist and facilitate the servicing and production of credit/debit/ATM cards and PINs. Performs various ATM/debit/credit card-related maintenance tasks including but not limited to address corrections, blocking and unblocking accounts, and assisting with removing fraud alerts.

Work  Hours:

Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM (Hours may vary)

Compensation

The hourly salary range for this role is $16.33- $23.42/hr; commensurate with experience.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in a business or communications field preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in a customer service role required, preferably in a call center environment.
  • Banking experience preferred.
  • Possesses excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Able to troubleshoot and identify root causes in problem solving.
  • Excellent organizational skills required.
  • Able to handle confidential matters judiciously.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 programs.
  • Proficiency in basic computer programs and able to operate office equipment including but not limited to fax, scanner, typewriters, copier etc.
  • Able to type a minimum of 35 wpm and use a 10-key by touch.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize assignments.
  • Able to work independently and highly motivated.
