Technical Marketing Leadership Development Program Internship

Siemens Digital Industries is an innovation and technology leader in industrial automation and digitalization. In close cooperation with our partners and customers, we are the driving force for the digital transformation in the discrete and process industries.
We are looking for engineering students to join the Technical Marketing Leadership Development Program Internship. This is a 12-week summer internship (May – August) that will prepare you for a potential opportunity with our fulltime two-year rotational development program upon graduation. This position will be based at one of our Digital Industries locations, including but not limited to Alpharetta, GA; Lebanon, OH; Chicago, IL; Harleysville, PA; and Charlotte, NC.
You’ll make a difference by:
- Engaging in projects and a wide range of functions related to technical marketing and contributing to business outcomes for Siemens industrial automation and digitalization products, which may include –
- Supporting product or project management, providing customer service to existing and prospective customers, and collaborating with internal engineering to pair customers with the right solutions.
- Creating detailed documentation and technical content regarding features and components of our products and services.
- Conducting feasibility analysis, creating analytics and reports, and developing strategic marketing campaigns and materials.
- Supporting business development initiatives and partnering with sales teams and internal stakeholders to drive revenue.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Undergraduate juniors pursuing a bachelor’s degree in: Industrial/Industrial Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related majors.
- Must be a student at the time of the internship and on track to graduate within one year after the internship.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, from mid-May to August.
- Effective written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
- Acute attention to detail, highly organized, self-motivated, with dedication to quality and excellence.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Relocation and travel: must be willing and able to relocate for the summer.
- Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
We offer you:
- The hourly pay rate for this position is $26.00-$31.00/hr. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
- Housing stipend and roundtrip mileage reimbursement will be provided to assist with offsetting the cost of relocating if you are required to relocate more than 50 miles from your permanent address.
- Additionally, interns for Siemens are eligible to contribute into our 401K program and receive Paid Sick Leave.
