Duties
- Serves as a senior member or coordinator of a project/program support team responsible for business systems, requirements assessment, evaluation, analysis, elicitation of an assigned area/subsystem.
- Serves as a senior member or coordinator of a project/program support team responsible for interpretation, planning, design, development, documentation testing, validation, implementation, and maintenance of an assigned area/subsystem.
- Evaluates and analyzes the customer's business system requirements for feasibility, cost-effectiveness, integrity, completeness, compliance, compatibility, and testability.
- Assists in the evaluation, selection, and integration of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) and/or Government-off-the-shelf (GOTS) solutions.
- Identifies and defines system interface requirements with other ancillary automated information systems (AIS) that support DLA's logistics business.
- Prepares emails, design studies, agendas/minutes, briefings, and walkthroughs to communicate work strategy, status, and/or progress to management, team members, coworkers, and/or customers.
- Tests and validates that all software modifications meet system specifications and that they fulfill the approved business system requirements.
