RF Filter Design Engineer Intern/Werkstudent/MS Thesis (m/f/d)

This is a full-time Intern position with a duration of approximately six months and corresponding remuneration. Alternative part time models may be possible, completion of a MS Thesis in the framework of the internship can be supported.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    Simulation and design of high frequency components specifically the development of BAW filtering components used in state-of-the-art wireless RF applications.

•    Contribute to the integration of acoustic filters into complex modules using circuit and 3D electromagnetic simulations

•    Perform acoustic, electromagnetic (EM) and thermal simulations using a combination of commercially available tools as well as Qorvo’s state-of-the-art internally developed tools and provide final device layout to support photomask set creation.

•    Characterization and design verification of acoustic filters including S-Parameters.

•    Documentation and presentation of results

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

•    Currently enrolled in MS university program for Electrical Engineering

•    Focus on microwave technology or semiconductor devices

•    Good knowledge of RF theory and measurements

•    Team player in an international work environment

•    Experience with RF/Microwave simulation tools is necessary

•    Very good English language skills, German language is a plus
