Fundraising Partnership Volunteer

As a Fundraising Partnership Volunteer, you'll play a key role in connecting local businesses with a cause that changes lives by creating mutually beneficial fundraising partnerships. Responsibilities:

  • Research local businesses in assigned zip codes in Chicago, Houston, and Dallas
  • Craft personalized emails to pitch fundraising partnerships
  • Follow up with phone calls to engage and secure partnerships
  • Track research, progress, and outcomes in our system
  • Attend weekly meetings for updates and support

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Passion for community engagement and fundraising

 

Preferred Qualification:

  • Obtained/pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, English, or the like
  • Experience with nonprofit work, community outreach, fundraising, and/or campaign development
  • Experience building relationships with donors

Requirements:

  • Volunteer at least 5 hours per week for at least 3 months starting in Oct 2024
  • Consistent access to a laptop/tablet and reliable wifi
  • Ability to make phone calls to the USA during business hours (usually 9am - 5pm Central Time)
