What we need YOU to do:

The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency wants you to be our newest environmental supervisor in the Division of Drinking and Ground Waters (DDAGW), working at our Northeast District Office in Summit County.  

 

Let’s get right into it.

As Ohio EPA’s environmental supervisor, you’ll develop, coordinate, and implement a subdistrict public drinking water program coordinated with the comprehensive program policies and directives of the Agency. You’ll oversee and assist in special investigations of public water systems, conducting field visits, consulting with owners and operators, and preparing recommendations. You’ll provide direction and supervision to staff, including performance reviews and recommendations for hiring.

You’ll supervise and perform the evaluation of all public water systems within your subdistrict, conducting complex field inspections and surveys of proposed well sites. You’ll consult with owners and operators, preparing written reports and providing follow-up when needed. You’ll direct, guide, and recommend legal action against violators of state water supply laws and regulations as necessary.

Additionally, you’ll supervise and assist in the collection of inventory data on public water systems. You’ll conduct surveys, process data, and develop information of public interest from available data and reports. You’ll provide technical assistance and consultation to engineers, architects, and public officials.
