Intern Orientation Highlights 

Internship Program Requirements: 

Educational Background: Pursuing a four-year degree with an expected graduation between December 2025 and Summer 2027. Must have overall 2.8GPA 

Transportation: Interns must have their own transportation to and from work. 

Geographical Flexibility: Willing to relocate to one of our ADM locations. 

Background Check: Successful completion of a background check is required. 

Availability: Must be available for a summer internship from mid-May to early August 2025.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Meat Science Intern to join our Product Development & Applications team. This internship will provide hands-on experience in meat science, product formulation, and application testing, contributing to the development of new and improved meat products. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Assist in product formulation and development for various meat products using a wide range of functional ingredients. 

Conduct sensory evaluations and assist in analyzing consumer feedback. 

Participate in laboratory experiments to test meat quality, safety, and shelf life. 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and quality assurance. 

Document experimental procedures and results, maintaining accurate records. 

Support the development of new processing techniques and formulations. 

Conduct literature reviews to stay current with industry trends and innovations. 

Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for new product concepts. 

Qualifications: 

Currently pursuing a degree in Meat Science, Food Science, Animal Science, or a related field. 

Strong interest in product development and food processing. 

Familiarity with meat processing techniques and quality analysis is a plus. 

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
