Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year applicable work experience and demonstrated skill with Revit and/or AutoCAD

And one or more of the following: 

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Fire Protection Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university and 1 year of work experience in the Fire Protection field or design industry. 
  • 5 years of work experience in the Fire Protection field or design industry.
  • Combination of education and experience may be considered in place of a degree.

Summary

The Fire Protection Designer will utilize Fire Sprinkler design concepts to produce full sets of construction documents for commercial building projects. The Fire Protection Designer will train and work with licensed professionals in a collaborative team to perform a variety of design tasks. An understanding of REVIT to design and develop construction documents for our multiple types of projects is preferred. This position may require minimal travel.
