Biology/Anatomy and Physiology Instructor
SUNY Niagara is searching for a Biology/Anatomy and Physiology Instructor contained in our Business and STEM division. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching in lecture and laboratory settings, and advising students. These classes are held at SUNY Niagara’s main campus located in Sanborn, NY.
This position will be responsible for teaching a variety of courses, which could include Anatomy and Physiology I and II, Human Biology, General Biology I and II, and Microbiology. All courses are taught in-person. Assignments are typically during the day, but often include evening hours.
The initial appointment into this position is temporary for the Spring 2025 semester. However, this temporary position has the possibility of becoming a permanent, 10 month, tenure track position for the 2025-2026 academic year.
The start date will be early January for the beginning of the Spring 2025 semester. The successful candidate will be provided with Spring Break for one week in mid-March, and will work until the Spring semester ends in Mid-May.
The annual salary for this position is $47,785. There is the potential for overload and other assignments, which would increase the base salary. For example: teaching two extra lab sections per semester would add another $3,750 per semester.
