We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our high school faculty. The ideal candidate will inspire students to explore the wonders of science, fostering critical thinking and a love for inquiry-based learning. The teacher will develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards while accommodating diverse learning styles.
Key responsibilities
- planning and delivery of instructional lessons aligned to state standards;
- classroom management;
- laboratory assignments;
- student support;
- continued professional learning;
- collaboration with faculty and administration;
- assessment and recordkeeping;
- extracurricular involvement is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (preferably in a STEM field);
- Valid teaching certification in NJ (Biological Science, Physical Science, Physics, Chemistry, Earth Science);
- Strong knowledge of science and curricular standards;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to inspire and motivate students;
- Experience with instructional technology, including online resources.
