ABOUT THE ROLE:
Our internship program gives you an excellent opportunity to gain valuable practical experience to complement your academic pursuits. We can tailor our internship calendar to coincide with your summer break. We are only considering students who will be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in the summer of 2025 and will be projected to graduate in the Fall/Winter of 2025 or Spring of 2026.
This role will require the intern to be onsite at our Carlsbad, CA location.
Job Summary:
The Product Engineering intern is an integral addition to our team during the summer. Interns are provided with a project to complete during their time but may also be assigned various smaller projects. These projects often include investigations into new cutting-edge technology or processes, analysis of current process capabilities, and gauge/fixture design. In addition, the intern helps support development and testing of new product launches. This role interfaces with multiple departments including R&D, industrial design, program management, sourcing, and Pro-Tour.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete an assigned project by the end of the internship Assist the Product Engineering team in testing and evaluation of current product in development
• Coordinate with suppliers and assembly locations to obtain samples and components and fully understand processing methods and constraints
• Attend all required project and category meetings
Required Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):
• Minimum of 2 years related coursework or experience completed in the following majors:
Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering
• Demonstrate strong communication skills – both verbal and written and be able to relate to all levels of employees and customers
• Must be self-motivated and be able to demonstrate initiative and work without supervision
Preferred Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft programs
• Ability to manage detailed project plans with accuracy CAD skills preferred Golf industry
knowledge a plus Sporting goods knowledge a plus
• Previous internship experience recommended
