The Main Responsibilities

 

Lumen’s Marketing organization is looking for a Product Marketing Intern on our Content-Product Solutions team. Over the 10-week internship, the intern will actively participate in a product launch, contributing to key Go-To-Market (GTM) efforts for Lumen’s digital products. They will also engage in a side project, such as conducting a competitive analysis, to gain broader exposure to product marketing strategies. The internship will provide valuable hands-on experience with product positioning, cross-functional collaboration, and performance tracking, all while allowing the intern to explore creative marketing ideas.

 

Other responsibilities of intern will include:

  •  
    • Assist with creating and refining product launch content, including product briefs, messaging
    • Documents, and customer use cases.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as sales, product, and marketing to ensure GTM alignment.
    • Track and update key GTM deliverables and timelines, ensuring tasks stay on schedule.
    • Support the development of marketing assets like blog posts, social media content, and promotional materials.
    • Conduct market research and contribute to a competitive analysis project to provide insights for future product launches.

What We Look For in a Candidate

 

Program eligibility is contingent on the candidate’s commitment for the entire 10-week program. No exceptions will be made.

 

  • Required qualifications
    • Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior level education status at the start of the internship
    • Graduating August 2025 – May 2026
    • Preferred fields include but not limited to: Marketing, Communications, Business
    • Intern must be able to work 40 hours per week during the 10-week program (May 30 – August 8, 2025)

 

  • Proficiency and understanding of:
    • MS Office Suite

 

  • Preferred qualifications
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail
    • Ability to conduct research and analyze market trends or competitor data
    • Proactive and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
    • Interest in technology and digital products, with a willingness to learn about Go-To-Market strategies

Compensation

 

Internship compensation ranges depend on each individual’s level of education, geographic location, and experience/qualifications aligned to the role.  

  

Hourly Based Pay Range: 
Min:   $22.00/hour 
Max:  $35.00/hour
