Automotive Sales Consultant

Duties include but are not limited to:

 

Greet customers arriving at the dealership

Excellent written & oral communication skills with a strong focus on lead follow up

Qualify buyers by understanding their requirements and interests and match these interests to various car models

Showcase the dealership's vehicles and explain their features and warranties to customers

Answer customer questions about cars, financing and purchase process

Accompany customers on test drives, collecting license and other documentation beforehand to ensure best practices in obtaining information needed

Negotiate car prices and trade-in values for customers vehicles

Close sales by overcoming objections and complete sales and purchasing contracts

Coordinate with the finance department to determine each customers financing and ownership options

Provide sales management information by completing reports.
