Esports is looking for talented casters for a variety of varsity titles. 

If you are a student interested in play-by-play commentary, or color commentary, this may be the position for you!

We broadcast live 3-4 times a week and are looking for students with the above interest and some knowledge of any of the following games: Rocket League, Overwatch, Call of Duty, Valorant, Smash Bros, Fortnite, and/or Rainbow 6. 

This position would require you to do prep-work on the broadcast and learn about the teams and organizations and then do 2-3 hours of shoutcasting when matches are live. 

We typically are live between 8-11pm M-F. 

 

All University of Akron student employees must meet the designated minimum standards as stated on the Student Employment Eligibility Chart. UA student employees must be 18 years or older at the time of their start date. Any approved remote work conducted by student employees MUST be performed within the state of Ohio.
