Job Description

The DMPK group within the Pharmacokinetic, Dynamics, Metabolism, and Bioanalytics (PDMB) department at our Research & Development Division is currently seeking summer interns for 2025. This group, pivotal in the drug discovery and development process, is responsible for evaluating the drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics of potential drug candidates, thereby identifying compounds with optimal pharmacokinetic profiles that can be safely and effectively administered to patients.

 

Learning opportunities for the prospective intern are:

Collaborating with the scientific team to design and optimize high-throughput automated workflows for evaluating the stability of novel modalities.

Utilizing the automated liquid dispenser for sample preparation.

Gaining hands-on experience in state of art high-throughput LC-MS/MS platforms

Assisting in data analysis and report generation

Contributing to the advancement of pharmaceutical research within a dynamic team environment

 

We are seeking intern candidates at all levels with strong academic performance, communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to thrive in a multi-functional environment.

Required: Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or other relevant discipline currently enrolled in graduate school pursuing a master’s or PhD in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacokinetics or related field.

Candidates must currently be enrolled in graduate school.

 

Required Experience and Skills:

Candidates must be available to work full-time in person for up to (12) consecutive weeks beginning in May or June of 2025.

Hands on experience with LC-MS/MS analysis.

Minimum of one year of laboratory experience.

Candidates must have a demonstrated record of strong academic achievement.

Strong attention to detail and a keen desire to learn.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced research environment.

 

Preferred Experience and Skills:

Familiarity with high-throughput screening methodologies and data analysis.

Previous experience with bioanalysis.

Experience with automation.

Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, problem solving, and collaboration skills along with strengths in delivering results in fast-paced environment.

GPA of 3.0 or higher.

 

 

Under New York City, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.

 

Expected salary range:

$39,600.00-$105,500.00

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
