The Technical department within Haleon’s Oak Hill manufacturing facility is made of up scientists and engineers that are responsible for ensuring processes are robust, safe and efficient. We are also responsible for the effective introduction of new processes and products to the supply chain by working closely with R&D and other manufacturing facilities. Oak Hill makes toothpaste, with popular brands such as Aquafresh, Sensodyne and Pronamel coming from our facility.  You will help support day to day business as usual projects moving along.

To enable you to perform in this future talent opportunity:

Education required:

  • Pursuing a BS degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field
  • 3.0 or greater cumulative GPA

 

Preferred requirements:

  • Candidate with previous internship experience in pharmaceutical, consumer health, chemical, oil/gas or food industry
  • Basic understanding of working in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment
  • Basic knowledge of chemical unit operations
  • Candidate familiar with basic statistical concepts
  • Provide your own funding for relocation and commuting.
  • Candidate must be eligible to work on a full-time basis (40 hours a week) during the internship duration (6 months).
  • Candidate must be eligible to work in the US at the time of, and for the duration of, their employment. Employees will be required to furnish evidence of US work authorization.

 

Role start date: June 2025

 

 

The hourly rate for this role is $24.50/ hour.
