2025 University Recruiting - Outcomes Research Vaccines - Summer Intern

Job Description

The Outcomes Research (OR) team is recruiting for one (1) summer intern student for 2025 Summer. The intern will work in the OR Vaccine team to support our Company’s product portfolio, focusing on Human papillomavirus infection (HPV).

 

The intern will gain experience with mixed-methods observational research, multi-country burden of disease studies, health systems research and developing real world evidence strategies. Summer interns will be provided hands-on learning experiences, coaching and mentoring, networking opportunities, an opportunity to meet their peers from various schools throughout the country, and the chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.  Responsibilities:

Development and implementation of Outcomes Research (OR) and Real World evidence programs to meet the value evidence needs of clinicians, policy makers, payers, and advisory committees' health systems

Write, coordinate, and validate as required, study designs, protocols, data analysis plans, scientific abstracts and final reports/publications

Contribute to the development of outcomes research strategies and plans for cross-divisional senior management approval

Work closely with cross-divisional teams to ensure value evidence programs are consistent with marketing strategies in key countries

 

Position Qualifications:

 

Education Minimum Requirement:

Candidate must be currently pursuing a master's or doctorate in public health, public policy, outcomes research, epidemiology, economics, pharmacy, or medicine.

 

Required Education and Skills:

Candidates must be able to commit to full-time onsite (or hybrid if applicable) employment for 10 - 12 weeks beginning June 2025

Candidates must have qualitative and/or quantitative research and analytics knowledge and expertise.

Candidate must be a self-starter with ability to manage multiple priorities while working as part of a team.

Candidates must have proficiency in Excel, Word, Office 365 and PowerPoint applications.

 

Preferred Experience and Skills:

Candidates should have leadership skills with ability to work in high performance teams and/or matrix organization.

Candidates should be able to function in a collaborative environment and be able to clearly understand and articulate the needs of stakeholders.

Candidates should have proficiency in Excel, Word, Office 365 and PowerPoint applications.

Candidates should have good written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.

Candidates should have scientific writing and/or manuscript authorship experience.

Under New York City, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education. 

  

Expected salary range:  

$39,600.00-$105,500.00
