We are seeking proactive and detail-oriented individuals for our Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) teams. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in EHS practices and policies within a professional setting. The intern will support the EHS team in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment, participating in various projects, and contributing to the development and implementation of safety and environmental programs.
Key Responsibilities May Include:
- Assist in conducting safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support the development and updating of EHS policies, procedures, and training materials.
- Help in tracking and analyzing EHS metrics and preparing reports for management.
- Participate in incident investigations and assist in identifying root causes and corrective actions.
- Assist in coordinating and conducting EHS training sessions for employees.
- Support environmental sustainability initiatives, including waste management, recycling programs, and energy conservation efforts.
- Assist in maintaining EHS records, permits, and documentation in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
- Knowledge of basic EHS principles and practices is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
