Corporate Access Summer Intern

The Platform Solutions Execution Management (“PSEM”) department sits at the forefront of the firm’s industry-leading initiatives to apply technology, quantitative analysis and data-driven methods to its execution process. The team leverages its analysis of the firm’s trading to advise decision-making at both the highest levels of the firm and at the very finest detail.

 

We have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Corporate Access Intern. The Corporate Access team helps to facilitate access to company management teams, both sell-side broker sourced and Millennium originated, for Millennium Portfolio Managers (“PMs”) and Analysts and advocates on their behalf to increase the quantity and quality of their meetings. Day-to-day, you will be handling various databases and email correspondence, implementing internal and external communication channels and processes, coordinating internal meetings, preparing reports, and working to increase efficiencies.

 

Ideally, you will have an outstanding ability to multi-task as well as superior organizational skills, while understanding the necessity for confidentiality and professionalism at all times. You will be able to deliver in a fast-paced, demanding environment while remaining calm under pressure. Principal Responsibilities

  • Support Corporate Access team to deliver a high level of client service to PMs and Analysts with a sense of prioritization and urgency; strong focus on internal sales and target marketing
  • Implement internal and external communication channels, and streamline processes for sell-side broker sourced and Millennium originated Corporate Access events
    • Update and maintain internal proprietary Corporate Access portal to manage forward looking event marketing and requests
    • Create and manage meeting planners for Millennium 1x1 meetings and calls
  • Proactively strategize attendance around Conferences: Establish and follow an efficient and reliable process to facilitate high volume of company meeting requests and allocations
  • Build and maintain relationships with brokers to ensure smooth, open channels of communication
  • Assist with the preparation of Corporate Access consumption reports for strategy sessions with PMs & Analysts
  • Organize internal portal education sessions with PMs and Analysts
  • Assist Corporate Access Associates with conference template uploads

 

Qualifications/Skills Required

  • Based in New York City, NY
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with a strong academic record
  • Outstanding verbal and communication skills, with poise and confidence to interact with and influence clients at all levels
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and Power Point and the ability to manipulate data
  • Detail oriented teammate who is able to prioritize in a fast paced, constantly changing environment to ensure efficient execution
  • High degree of operational efficiency, ability to multi-task, and attention to detail
  • Good team player with strong willingness to participate and help others

 

The estimated base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $100,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future.
